the file doesnt work :(

it always says that it cant find the .dll file :(

Is the error the same when you dont use the fixed exe?

The error is due to a badly cracked EXE. I think it has a screwed up import table or something that affects Win9x/ME users so it complains of a .DLL file missing. WinXP users are unaffected.

Err, it's on the original CD!! It's only the cracked EXE that doesn't work under ME, the original EXE is OK.

That does make sense, being that I am running Windows 98 SE... however, any idea if another patch will be made to cure such for 1.0 so those that do run it on Windows 98 can do so without such an error...?

im talking about the file which you can download from gcw - this file doesnt work for 98/ME and my question was where i can find a working one...

moep, not seen a fixed Crack file for Win9X/ME yet so you'll have to carry on using your original CD for a while!

or make an image of your original play CD and mount it in a virtual CD drive.

Hmm, I have tried using Alcohol 120% but it doesn't seem to work, maybe I did something wrong or is it just not possible to do... haven't tried Alcohol 120% before this so I am not exactly proficient in it... My OS is Windows 98 SE and thus, I can't use the crack... any suggestions?

Is there going to be one coming out for Windows 98 SE? or should I upgrade to Windows XP to play this game?

Put your CD in the drive to play the game until a cracked update comes out.
