multigame dvd's
Now i've successfully burnt mulitple multi-game dvd's for the xbox with isocraxtion that work perfectly. I was just wondering if there is any program that will allow you to do this with ps2 games or if this is even possible to put more than one game on a dvd for ps2. Thanks.

No such program for PS2 :(
I am beginning to think that it is not possible :( |
bummer
i just don't understand why it can't be done if xbox allows it. Maybe that's just xbox showing off again why it is much better than ps2. You'd think that somebody could just take the source code from a demo dvd from like playstation magazine and edit it so it loads full length games instead of demos. Oh well i guess.

for cds yes, for dvd no
There is a program that adds multiple games to one disc. It says it works for both cd and dvd, but dont think anyone has got it working with dvd. I have read of people getting it to work with cds though. I never had any luck.
It is called ps2gameselector.zip, just do a search. |

How does this prog work? I just d/l it, and can't seem to figure out what media to use. Is it multigame CD games on a DVDR? Or are the games on CDR? Doesn't seem to make sense if you have multiple games on a CDR, you can only hold so much (Not even 2 games eh?) So do you use bland DVDR and have multiple CD based games on the DVDR? Kinda interested b/c I have some CD based games that I wouldn't mind having on one DVDR.....

Y'know, I was gonna let this slide... but...
Yousty, you're a retard. Go play with your XBox that mommy and daddy bought you for Christmas, to distract you from the fact that your computer is better, nicer, and upgradeable. Jesus H. Christ if I see one more loser come in here and say "why can't I surf the web with the PS2, the XBox does it" or "why can't I save stuff on the hard drive on the PS2, the XBox can do it" I'm gonna ****ing scream and shoot someone. Here's a clue - the PS2 is not an XBox. The XBox is a littly tiny baby PC. The PC can do many wondrous things... but sucks at others. - Gurm |
Chill out sarg.

No offense but I hope this attitude doesn't scare away newbs. I was a huge retard when I first came to file forums. Granted there weren't nice newbie guides when I first came here but still. I've gone through 2 ps2's also. (USB Mod, No Solder) I wish someone would have told me to get a no-swap chip right away. But I'm not bitter about it. It was a learning experience for me. But I listened to quality advice from people who know what they are talking about (Charlie, BG, Dust even you Bighap) and now I can say that I have a good chip and have few problems. (Other than the ones that we're trying to figure out Bighap :) ) I'm here to help people if I can. If they don't listen to our advice they will learn the expensive way, like I did. :D

I was just struck the REALLY wrong way by his post.
I've seen a lot of XBox posturing, but it's just a bit excessive to say stuff like "why can't I make this XBox game run on the PS2?" or "why can't I homebrew multigame DVD's on the PS2 like I can on the XBox?" *sigh* - Gurm |
Very True. The X-box is a mini cpu. But the question "Can I get my Super Nintendo Games to play on my PS2?" isn't a totally stupid question. (But it seems like one at first) However, I beat all 96 levels of Super Mario World on my Sony Playstation 2. :D

Yep, emulation on a next generation platform video game system.... gotta love it!
|
Oh, absolutely.
It's the "why can't I make more than one game run from my PS2, it's EASY on the XBox..." that pisses me off. - Gurm |
True that. ;)

God, I HATE X-BoXes. (They sort of have the same effect on me as that post did on Gurm (and 100% right he is too!)) |
