messiah 2 or the magic 3???
 

which one is better??? i need some major advice, and if theres a link to reviews of both, please post, thanks.

This has been covered many times. Everyone will tell you Messiah 2. Magic sucks. If you want to save a little cash and still get a great mod, get an Apple Pro. They are only $19.99 from www.modchips.cc

99.9% of people on this board will say Messiah2, personally my Magic 3.1 has never once had a problem booting any game or backup or anything. This is including XenoSaga, Kingdom Hearts, Splinter Cell, Both GTA's, also the gran turismos and a lot of other games some people have had problems with, like the hack in The Matrix.

My friend also has a Messiah 2 and has never had a problem. I guess im just lucky where my chip is concerned tho id go with the majorty get the M2, i only got the Magic cos thats all my local installer sold.

i know how messiah 2 is suggested to be the best on this board, but.............it died one me.
so thats why i wanted to ask, since for me, messiah 2 seemed pretty unreliable. right now i have a magic 3.1 as well, and its working great, except there is one slight problem......it won't play anti-mod psx imports (FFVIII) but i guess its ok, since its a pretty outdated game. if anyone knows how to by pass this, please do tell.

its just a matter of luck and compatibility... some machines have difficulties with mod chips some dont...
my messiah 2 is working perfectly.... on a v7 ....

I have to say messiah 2 pro. It has never failed and its capability is beautiful.

I would also have to say the Messiah 2....

My original Messiah still boots everything I can throw at it... (Including the games that the Magic line of chips have problems with)

Go with a genuine Messiah 2.... Well worth the extra money over the Magic chips......
