Need help with DVD Backup :(

Hi all,

i've got a prob. booting a "Lord of the Rings: The 2 Towers" Backup. Did everything exactly like in the Sticky Thread. I used Stomp Recordnow Max Demo with a MMORE DVD-R Media, wrote the dvd at min. speed and tried it 2 times. If i try to boot the backup with Action Replay and "Start without codes"... my PS2 freezes and nothing happens. I've got a PAL Playstation2 (SCPH-30004) and a Neo USB SBox Mod. Do i need to Patch LOTR because its an EA game ? Got no idea what else i could do to get it work, please help me :(

P.S. This is the first dvd backup for me ;) so i'm a little bit noob, other CDR Backups always worked fine.

EDIT: I tried to swap the original with the burned one when the game is running. When i swapped it the Background music didn't play any longer and at the next loading Zone the game crashed. Maybe my ps2 just can't read the MMORE DVD Media at all and the boot method isn't the fault. (If i don't swap the discs and just put the original in and out everything's fine). Anybody got an idea what else i could do ?

You are going to have to get a new mod if you want to play dvd backups. The sbox doesn't support dvd backups.

DOH!!!!

U can't go wrong with the messiah 2. Although it has been said 1000 times before, it really is the best mod by far although I have also heard good things about the "apple" mod as well.

If I were u I would get M2Pro.

None of the early mods support DVD backups well. Many don't at all.

SBOX, NeoKey, USB MOD, No-Solder MOD... are all "early mods" in my book.
