PS1 Backup booting
 

Hi. Just finally decided to have my Jap PS2 (15000) mod'd with a Messiah2 this morning. but for some reason I can't get PS1 backups to boot off it, PS1 originals boot fairly easily, and disabling the chip allows me to run protect'd stuff like FF8 - Any ideas? I intend to check on the SCEx later tonight... but some more ideas could be helpful.
