Magic 3.1 Z wire
 

Does anyone know what the z wire does on magic 3.1? All the diagrams I have seen show the z wire attached, but the place where I got the chip says not to attach the z wire.
I think they got it from neoasic and not chinamagic.
Any ideas?

the "Z" wire on magic chips are to allow you to use gameshark/actionreplay
the "Z" wire would cause problems on some magic2s (the tray wouldn't close, i think), it works fine on magic3.1s
