Mechcommander 2 No Cd Does Not Work

it does not work, and I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same problem as I am. If anyone knows how to make it work could you please tell me I would REALLY appreciate that.

when you lanch the game it asks you for the cd?well you gotta have the cd even the copy of the original.sorry.
