Max payne 1.05 nocd crack ?
 

I applied this patch, hoping it would work on WinXP (the game just crashes to desktop when loading first level:rolleyes:), but I can't find any crack for this version.

Could anyone help me with that ? Thanks!:)

Does the game even run on XP?

It hasn't been officially tested, but in the readme they say it works.;)

Remove the no-cd crack and see if the game runs.

Well I haven't applied any patch yet, because I can't find any for the 1.05 version.:(

The game works fine under WinXP, although I havent played v1.05 under it. I really dont see 3DRealms/Remedy messing up its compatibility with XP with the last patch..

Anyways, I have the DEViANCE crack for v1.05... if you want it, drop me a PM with an email address that accepts at least 2mb (so no hotmail address)

Well, I didn't play through it AGAIN, but FWIW the game at least starts up and seems to play normal for the first couple of levels. This was with the 1.05 crack (deviance?) and under XP pro SP1.
