*help* major diablo 2 problems
 

I recently had to reinstall diablo 2 lod and am now having some major problems. I am using a backup copy with key generated. I had no problems before until now.

* Firstly i've lost all my saved characters (unless I use v1.09)

* I've installed the 1.08 patch once again, but for some reason it wont upgrade the rest when I log onto b-net (fsgs) and installing lod without the log on upgrade seems to leave it at v1.07?? Meaning I can't play with anyone because they all have v1.08.

*I tried using v1.09, but when it goes to do the log on upgrade it sits there at 0% downloaded and doesnt move!

I don't mind so much losing my characters.... I just want to play on fsgs again!

please help...
