Hedsets and Modded PS2
 

Can I use my headset on a modded PS2? I just got NCAA and i can get online (using an original copy) but my headset doesn't work, its a logitech USB and it worked fine on my PC so i know its not a fauly headset.

well the PS2 says it supports the Logitech USB head set and thats what i am using...

i didnt know sony licensed headsets
a la xbox live.. feature..

Yeah it comes with SOCOM.

i work at best buy and we do sell a headset for the ps2 made by logitech. problem is if i remember correctly it costs $40.

i guess some are confused. I have the headset...i just want to know if there is a problem using it with a modded PS2 b/c it looks like i'm having problems hearing people when i play them in NCAA 2004

I doubt the mod has anything to do with it. You can try disabling the mod and use the original and see if you get the same thing. I am guessing you will.
