if originals load (all in ps2 mode)(dvd originals, cd originals, dvd movies and ps1 originals) and ps2 backups give you rsod, and ps1 backups come up as an audio cd, what the hell happened? - lol

v7 ps2 and thats confusing. i think im gonna redo the cd-dvd controller wires,.

oh yea, it wont play dvd movies either

Yeah either the CD/DVD wires or something wrong with R or W.

i think it may have been the r wire. but i backed out of the install, and now understand why u all say use kynar wire. the ribbion cable that i was using......the insulation always melted, that ish never melts. i need a big spool - lol

I never said use Kynar - but lots of others have said so and successfully do so.

We use Enamelled Copper Wire.

my bad. ive seen that, but i remember u saying the puff of smoke was toxic, so i decided to pass on that.

everything loads in ps2 mode origanals

check your power and ground as well,it seems to me m2 has no power
only ever seen 1 that wouldnt play dvd films,was e or f

Hey seven o two... How are you advertising to do mod installs if you are here asking questions about one being installed incorrectly. It sounds as though it is your first install. Maybe you should try a couple more before you try and make money from it.
