i am confused..
what´s the difference..
between a xecutioner 2 lite and pro 2.2? i was doing some reading and the only difference i can find is that the lite has 2 banks for 2 bios and the pro has 4 banks and i am not sure.. even and between the 2.1 and the 2.2 what´s the upgrade.. thanks.. in advance.. |
For the most part, it is better because it works with the new v1.3 xbox's, but here is the "new" list.
*NEW IN X2.2 LITE* -The PCB is RED - NOT BLUE. - Now comes in its own box, not a bag. - Now works on XBOX 1.3 as well as the others - Added new external switch module - External module includes LED to display mod enable/disable, bios select (bank 1 or bank 2), and Flash protection (enable/disable). - External module designed to fit under the front lip of the case - 2x hyper Blue LEDs on mod chip. No reason (just looks really cool!) - Solder pad space to solder your own custom LED(s) - [resistor already fitted to regulate the supply to the LED(s)] X2 Pro has flash protections on it. A little more stuff, check here: http://shop.system-mods.com/product.asp?3=10 |
Okay where can I go to buy some...and do I have to download software and do that other stuff like the older chips?
|
The link I posted above sells them. Software you need depends on the seller. Oh yah, here is a comparison link.
Anyways, most chips come with legal bios, which you can then load up evolutionX and reflash your chip with a different set of bios. |
I just want to install a modchip into my xbox, burn games, and play them. I have no idea what flash bios and all that other stuff means...so can you please help me on which modchip to chose? I'm sorry if I sound dumb
|
Oh and that site is always sold out of Xbox modchip.. :(

You can also get Xecutor lite 2.2 chips from The Console Corner. Good Dealer. |
in other points i clarify my doubts
thans to Quall999 but the difference between the lite and the pro is? i am sorry, but i ma pretty confused and dont know what to get? |
sry, I was a lil bit wrong, thanks rms for pointing that out. lol, hope I didn't mess anyone up.
To clarify what you do, you don't boot evoX. Instead you boot a program called OzXflash. It boots up, and then pops the tray open for you. Then it asks for a bios CD. After that you burn a bios image named bios.bin onto a disk and insert it into the dvd-rom. It flashs and turns off by itself. When you power on the chip whould be flashed. Again I must have read it wrong or something and I hope that clears everything it. Oh yah, the difference between a lite and pro, other than the 13 bucks or so, is 1. twice as much bios 2. external rear LPT module, which I think is used to flash the chip. |
:D
thnx for the answer.. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D |
