Best places to research
 

I'm in the market now for a modchip for my PS2.

I see by this forum that there are two modchips that are worth getting above all others. The Messiah2 and the DMS3.

Unfortunately, this forum doesn't help when it comes to choosing between the two. :>

Anyway, what are some other good sites/forums to look around before spending a slightly large amount of money on a modchip?

Then obviously you haven't read very much....

Take a look at the "sticky" at the top of the forum HERE!

Then you can make your own decision......

If you want the EXTRA features that the DMS3 has, then by all means GET IT....

I personally see no need in them.

Most everyone here (myself included) SWEAR BY the Messiah 2....

I have the original Messiah and the Messiah 2.....

Even the "original" Messiah still boots everything.....

So NOW.... The decision is yours....

I have seen a lot of post here saying pos and cons between DMS3 and M2 chips.

Read them then make your own choice. We cannot make the choice for you...:rolleyes:

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear.

This forum has been the most helpful of any other place I've visited (for years now, even).

In fact, this forum gives so much information about the two top contenders, that it makes it hard to choose between the two.

Messiah 2 is rock solid and cheaper. DMS3 costs more due extra features. Basically what it comes down to is the extra features. Like BG, I have no use for the DMS3 features. It is up to you.

id go with the messiah 2.
