Cpu speeds?
 

ok..... I installed the Pioneer in the old 450 i have with win98....
It also takes about an hour to write a dvd at 1x...2x..3x...4x...
No matter what speed I choose....So.....I have decided to build another computer....The local store has barebones systems with 2Ghz Amd Athalon....256 Ram....Power....etc..etc... for just under $250...I already have an old 40 gig hd.....Would this do the trick?

I hate burning at 1x when I have the 4x media ;-) hehe

I figured I could just get another Lite-On dvd Rom and throw the pioneer in as the master and it will be just as good as my 2.4 Dell with 1 Gig Ram.....Otherwise....My dell can burn 4 dvds before the other has one done......Well almost..
