Cant make backup of my own Games ! *Plz HELP*
Hi, i have a modified Xbox and a Nec 1300 DvD-Burner.
And iv done exactly as the "DATA BURN method with screen shots" guide says. But when i put in the DvD in the Xbox it just says "Unknown". I have: EvoX RemoteX V1.8.3285 Is it the way i burn or is it my Xbox that is strange ? Have tryed with DvD-R, DvD+R, DvD+Rw. I think i have a Xbox with a modified Bios, becous when i got my machine modified, they said they installed a chip and did something to the Bios and then remove the chip again. I can play all kinds of DivX movies, with the DvD cds that i made. And i can make backup of the games with "XbCopy" to the xbox hd, and play the games from there. But when i try and copy it to a DvD, it just says "Unknown". What could be wrong ? :( |
Turn your XBox on and let it boot EvoX from the HDD. After thats loaded, boot into MS Dash. Open your DVD-Rom tray and drop in your DVD back up. The XBox should read the disk from there. Now it may give you a "Dirty **** Error" on the first try, just eject the disk and put it back in and it should load.

Its ok, iv solved the problem. :)
Nr1.Put Game in Xbox. Nr2.Use XbCopy. Nr3.Connect to Xbox Hd and download it to the Pc Hd. Nr4.Start SimpleX Nr5.Press Establish shell Exts. Nr6.Press Make Iso and target the folder. Nr7.Start Nero, and burn image on Dvd-R. And its done. I wish someone had told me this befor. I didnt know i had to use "SimpleX" to get it to work. :D |
Also do not buy xbox live becuase if the xbox tsop was flashed you will be banned. Just be warned so you do not waste any money.

Problems with MGS 2
I cant make a backup of "Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance" becous the original DvD is on 6,41 gb.
So i copyed all the files to the computer Hd. And the names of the files is: default.xbe disc1_0.dat To disc1_8.dat And: disc2_0.dat To disc2_8.dat And they were all on 1 DvD, but my DvD-R can only take 4,5 Gb. Can i split it on 2 DvDs ? Or can i remove some of the files ? Any ide how to make it work ? Plz help me out here  |
As far as i'm aware you can only instal it and run it from your hard drive, splitting it over 2 dvd's isn't (unfortuanately) gonna work unless of course someone else hear has worked out how to do it :)
