PS2 Board
 

I would like to find out if there anyone out there sell just the PS2 board. I'm trying to chip my buddy's console, just incase if I burn the board, I can buy and change the board.

get a pro to do it
it is very easy to kill the playstation doing this
i've seen boards on the web but you can only get v2-4 and the are not cheep

If you burn the borad, try to contact sony, you may have to pay a price but they will get your machine fixed.

If you are moding a V3 or earlier model, it is a much harder job because you will have to solder so many points to the contorllers leg. I had a V3 machine moded with Origa chip (my first machine and moded machine)... it took me like more than 5 hour to finish the job. Not worth trying yourself.

If it is a v7, then it is a very easy job... just use the following points for the bios legs:

Just done my new v7 with those points... a piece of cake.

Get a pro to do it so you dont burn the board.
