Chaser Protection
 

Hi !

Who know where Chaser is protected ? I make a security copy and at the installation the CD means thats not the original CD. Does someone know advice as well as I can that remove ?

its a backup from an original cd.

Downlaod Proteciton ID and scan the .exe file! First isntalla the game from the orignal CD. and then scan .exe file.. and then you found what protection the CD dose have!

securom+svkp (incl svkp api)+triggers+armadillo+file crcing is the protection used on chaser.. jowood basically went nuts on it, try using blindwrite

Well, they are on the brink of financial disaster, so what better way to increase your profits than to give money to as many copy protection companies as you can ? :D

christ, does the game even install with all that **** included?:D
Next step will be putting dongle up your ass, (a so called "anti-warAZZ wrapper"!!!) to ensure you're a legit user.

Of course no one want their games when they're not working properly *even* with originals *cough* <Chaser> *cough*

I have bought Chaser [german version] yesterday.
It (original) don't work in my DVD-Rom, but in my CD-RW (LiteOn).
I don't want to use my CD-RW for playing games, so i make a backup with the fixed exe [englisch version - Will it work?] on it.

The problem is - The Setup checks also for the original cd, so i can use my backup only for playing and not for installing the game.

Does anyone have a fixed setup.exe ?

PS: Until now i can't test the english crack with the german version, because my PC is "dead". WinXp tells me each time with a blue screen [translated by me - sorry] "Windows will shut down for damage preventing. If you have this the first time start new your pc...."

Or use Alcohol 120 in the latest version. Made a working safety copy of the german version with the settings for securom 4.8.xx and Savedisc together.

iMMERSiON released that game, a fixed setup exe exists.

setup.exe launches evil little math64.dll or math32.dll before the install actually begins
