Safe Disc 2.9

Hi all
Just to let you all know, just bought F1 CHALLENGE 99.02 EA SPORTS, (What a superb game,) anyway I went to back it up with clone cd, after scanning it with Clony Safe disc 2.9, this is not going to be easy I thought, how wrong could I be! I made a 1.1 copy, no crack required, I do not understand, this was easier to back up than games 6 months ago what`s going on,

On the subject on copy protection I also bought the new Tomb Raider ( what a load of crap) anyway this game has no copy protection or cd check anyone know why??? are they tryng to take away all our fun :)

hey what program did you use to backup the safedisc protected cd? (Clone CD, Alcohol, Nero..)

I have new Tom Raider too. It has no protection because no one will want to copy it. The control is so bad.:D

thanx

I use clone cd with a Yamaha F1 cd writer, I have just tried to make a 1:1 copy with a Liteon drive with no luck! must be due to the Yamaha, anyone else got one of these drives

Sacrebleu, what Liteon drive did U use?

True, older Liteon drives do NOT offer pregap reading support. (On the other hand unlike the Liteys, even recent Yamaha drives do not have 100% correct EFM encoding - you msut have used 'weak sector' enhancement with the F1).

So what wuz the Liteon you used, & what firmware?
