XWA NO-CD: Does it WORK in multiplayer?
 

So, my CD drive makes a loud noise. That's why I'd like to play X-wing:alliance without the CD.
I've noticed that if/when the Xwingalliance.exe is modified ie. to use custom .OPTs (****pit and other graphics), it results in horrible PACKET LOSS in the multiplayer. Is this the case with the English X-wing:alliance NO-Cd patch ? I have the English version of the game. ("Software in English")
