FileForums - The Sims

Hi,
I tried to make a back up CD of the Sims but I get an error message to insert the correct cd with the backup. Since then I gave the original CD to a little girl that begged me for it but first I backed up the entire CD to a temp folder on my computer. I looked through previous messages to see if I could find a way to copy the Sims and have it actually work. I have Win XP pro and a Sony CRX100E using Roxio Easy CD creator 5. I don't have the heart to take back the CD from the little girl since she'll probably cry and I don't have the $$ to buy another one, so if there is a way to get my game to work I'd really appreciate it. I tried making a CD from the temp folder which resulted in 4 shiny little skeets.

This all started when the little girl bought an expansion pack with her hard earned bucks and I told her she needed the original CD so the expansion pack would work. Next time I'll keep my mouth shut.
