Did you "remove" your cdrom from the control panel before taking it out and puting the burner in? Also download and install aspi 4.6(stay away from 4.7)

bighap 01-07-2003 11:36

It took some searching but you can get 4.6 here

HUH!!!

Ok... What have I missed.....

I use 4.7 and haven't had any problems at all.....

bighap 01-07-2003 16:58

Some are ok with it some aren't. I think it was last week somebody was getting errors with every burning prog they tried. I told them to switch from 4.7 to 4.6 and all was fixed.:)

Ahhhh....

Another Pioneer A05 and Primo DVD thing! :D

bighap 01-07-2003 18:56

Nero and CloneCD actually. You can read the post here

BG 01-07-2003 20:48

no no no....

What I meant was this is the same deal as:

Primo DVD wont work with my A05, but it WILL work for someone else.........

So these new aspi drivers work for me, but don't work for others...

I think I just like trying to confuse you...... :)

I guess so:D I get ya now. Just a thought, have you tried using ASPI 4.6 with Primo to see if that works?

BG 01-07-2003 21:01

Nah.....

After all the BS I went through originally to try and get it to work.....

Once I got RecordNow Max.... I said the HELL with it........:D

I'm about to set up a new computer with 2-200gig drives with multiple Operating Systems, so I will try all different combinations then to see if I can find a work around for others.....

bighap 01-07-2003 21:05

Damn. Good luck trying to use up all that space.:p
