My PS2 won't read DVDs...help.
 

I just bought a version 7 PS2, and got it modded with Messiah 2. It boots everything with no problems, but strangely cannot load DVDs. The gold disk comes up in the browser screen, but it reconizes the DVD as a PS2 game in DVD format. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
