CM4 Patch - "The game is not installed" message
 

Hello! I have a non-original Cm4 game installed and when I try to install any of the original patches (before the fixed exe) it displays a "the game is not installed" message. I have tried it with all 3 patches. I also tried to run the fixed exe directly but, obviously, it created problems when running the game. Any help?

Non-original ? Would you please, pretty please with f*cking sugar on top read the DAMN BOARD RULES ?

Thanx for your tactful notification, but since I saw that there was no problem with other similar posts like this I thought I might post my problem here. However, I have to note that it is really a very kind way to welcome a newcomer to the site...

Maybe my somewhat abrupt approach has something to do with the thousands of n00bs like yourself who create an account, completely fail to read the board rules, and then make their first post a rules violation. I can guarantee you that the 10000th time this happens, it can kinda get on your nerves. Listen, I've got nothing against you personally. Just read the rules, obey them and you'll have a problem free stay here.

While everyone is entitled to his opinions, this kind of random accusations really don't belong here. I see this is the second time you do this. My advise is to really think before pulling this crap again. This is a public board, but there are rules. And one of those rules is "Don't try to drag the rest of the board down to your level".
