Nero "forces" pause between audio trk1 & trk2
HI!
I have Nero Burning 5.5.9.14 running on Win98 SE. When attempting to make an audio CD in DAO mode, after setting the pause between tracks at 0 seconds for ALL the tracks, when I click on "burn"-"write", I receive a message: "CD specifications allows only 2-3 seconds pause for the first track" with 2 options: - Change tracks settings and burn (clicking on this option, the sw makes the correction and the burn process starts, but a pause is done between trk1 & trk2) - Cancel (clicking on this option, the burn page is closed and sw returns to main page) All this is independent from what recorder I select (my Plextor 40x or the Image Recorder). Moreover, if I have an original CD made "without" pauses (even between trk 1 & trk2), i.e. live concert, when I copy it (via Image Recorder), the copy is done WITHOUT the gap... Several months ago, with a different recorder, I used "Easy CD Creator" version 3.xx which allowed "no gap" between tracks. Is ti true that CD specs are different, or is Nero that cannot do this? Is someone knowing a solution that allows to "bypass" this gap inside Nero? Thank you. Alex |
