xvid to svcd
 

ok guys i have a question i have some dvds that i want to back up. i use dvdx 2.2 to convert them to xvid and they look great but if i wanna play them to my dvd player i need to make them svcd i use tempec and they look good but they are still a little so so on quality even though i have the bit per sec to max 2500. i was wondering if anyone knew they best way to make xvid...like how groups like vite,ninja,etc

Check out this guide. I know it says avi to svcd, bhut it is supposed to tell you how to convert xvid as well.

XVID _is_ .avi, heh.

But if you want to go from DVD to SVCD, why not skip the XVID step entirely, and use DVD2SVCD?
