Jewel Removal?
 

Does anyone know how to remove the jewel from the top of the Xbox? Do you just pry it out?

Heir dryer works great, or some I'm told.

Yeah, just figured that out. Had to dremel through the back. Unforunatly I put a small hole in my freshly painted case, but I think I can fix it so you would never know.

What kind of paint did you use??
 

I have been thinking of spicing up my XBox a bit. Seen this really cool looking one that used mettalic silver and black. Looked pretty straighforward just don't know what type of paint I should use?

I have my artist drwing on the jewel and my remote sensor right now. Next time he comes down we are going to finish the front of the case. As far as paint any spray paint should work fine. I have been using rustoleum. I paint, he draws, then I clear coat. Been debating adding LEDs to the jewel but don't know yet. Alot of people use super bright colored lights that I think are kinda cheesey, but work with a few styles. If I do it I'll probably just use one or two white lights.
