Why does this software convert the Pal dvd to Ntsc when u back up you're original copy ?

:confused: I have never heard of this. DVD X Copy doesn't do any converting. It makes an exact copy of the original.

Just double checked and the original is pal and the back up is ntsc, according to nero info tool anyway. But just one other thing, the orig is a 2 films on 1 dvd, but it has only copied one of the 2 films which I am presuming to be the biggest in size of the 2.

One of the probs DVD X Copy has is with episodic dvds. A few of these problems were fixed with 1.5.2. What version you using?

Sorry being late getting back but I think I may have mislead u a bit, I'm actually using DVDXcopy xpress v.2005

Oh ok. Xpress doesn't do episodics at all. You will need to use a differernt program such as dvd2one.

Although some may rubbish it, I would recommend you try DVD Shrink. It's freeware and it's very simple to use.

You can do full disk copy (with compression) or movie only.

It can't hurt to try it and I haven't had any problems so far.

What a first class program, everybody out there take note, this is some seriously good s**t-----and its free!
