final Fantasy 9 (NTSC/US) protection fix
 

I am trying to locate a protection fix patch for the NTSC/US version of Final fantasy 9. all sites seem to believe that only europe copies were protected and not the US version.

I'm positive that these cds are NTSC U/C because they are labelled right onto the cds, and when I scan them using clonyxxl, it registers as psx libcrypt.

I was hoping that a patch would fix this error I am getting while trying to play. I made an iso with clonecd using all the correct settings. While testing the iso with an emulator, I notice that when the screen goes black, the emulator logs a cd read error at the exact location everytime.
