Hulk
New user to the group, I have been watching for a while and learning a lot. Thanks for that. Now I am stuck and need specific help, I am trying to back up my copy of the Hulk using Record Now and a Pioneer 05 DVD-R. When I create my .gi it becomes three .gi images. I am using the same procedure that I have used many time sucessfully. (following your tutorials) any body else had this or know why?

This is normal. You burn the one without the (#) at the end of the file name. This is also a much smaller file than the others.

Thanks for the quick response. What is different about this game? I have not had any other game give me more than one file before.
|
I am guessing you haven't done too many dvd game backups then if you havn't seen this before. I believe you get multiple files for larger games.
|
Bighap is correct, the bigger the game the more files there are. Record now seems to split up the image file into segments. There are some games that only have one. Batman vengence is only 750 megs or so and would probably only need one image file.

u said use one image on the Hulk
But you didn't say how to only copy that one image of the Hulk using record Now Max.. Can you please explain how to.. Thank you, for your prompt concern

Like I said, you burn the one without the (#) at the end of the file name. This is also a much smaller file than the other(s).
|
You burn the one without the number and it automatically picks up the other .gi files (the ones that are numbered). You don't actually see it, but it happens. Good luck!

As usual, with other backups, when I did The Hulk, it threw up 3 files, record now max copied them perfectly.
No need to seperate them. It did seem to take longer than normal probably due to the size of the files. One file was only 2kb in size |
