Do I have to install sims again if i add an expansion pack?

i just wana know a lil something :)

I have sims Deluxe on my comp, and i wanna install Sims Hot Date, will I have to then re-install Sims Deluxe ?

SHOULD not be necessary.

The only thing you have to observe with The Sims and its Expansions: The correct order !!!

1. The Sims
2. The Sims - Living Large
3. The Sims - House Party
4. The Sims - Hot Date
5. The Sims - Vacation
6. The Sims - Unleashed
7. The Sims - Superstar

Your The Sims Deluxe is Step 1 - 3 !!!
