a doubt of mine
 

i am currently doing a project on flash

i want to make a cd with flash

that have a swf file

i want that cd to be copy protected
ie it shouldnt be writtable

ie cd to cd copy cannot be done.

i dont mind if they find crack for it,is it possible to a extent.

if that happens no one would buy from me .

is it posssible.

please tell me.

There are various programs that can add very simple copy protection to a home made cd. This will only stop the most novice of users though.
You will not get a copy protection such as Safedisk or Securom.

Have a look here for a guide to some simple copy protections.

The answer is more simple: impossible

Any encapsulation will not fit your need, as il will leave your content unprotected: it's useless to protect the viewer!

And if you look for something more serious, you will not find it, as Macromedia do not open Flash for internet security reasons (they have done it for Director).

I didn't say that, I was answering to your first post. But anyway, I'm afraid the answer to your second question is almost the same: you need the file to be on your CD, for displaying it. The only thing you can do is modify the FAT of the CD, to make the file look bigger. But it's not a really serious protection...And you will need to be sure the player will stop at your end, not at the end of the file (ie the file must content the end pattern, like </HTML> for an HTML file)
