NEW Safedisc 2.50.21 uncopyable????
 

Hi!

I'm german so excuse my bad english ;-)).

I got a new game "Serious Sam 2 : The Second Encounter". So I put the CD in my drive
and what a luck it has Safedisc 2 on it. Till today I'd never problems while copying SD2 with
the Plextor W24/10/40A burner. But this game don't work. "Daemon tool 3.0" is able to mount
the CloneCD Image. The game works without enable the emulation option in the tool.

Anybody an idea to create a good copy ???

PS : I won't put the patched EXE on the CD!!!

Hm, unfortunately not. After this patch the Image also don't work with Daemon tools any more, so after burning a CD it won't work too I think, or?

No interest to "destroy" all my CD's and I've got no 700MB rewrite CD :-)

That´s normal!
Try to write the patched image with your writer ... if you want to use the image with Daemon again, just unpatch it ...

It is only proper=ly repicated by Liteon ltr 24102b and the 32x model.
There are some Plexes that can do it but i am not sure which they are....

I've tried this with Serious Sam SE and it didn't work with my Plex 24X. (Yes it was the modified one I used). I have only heard reports of it working with MOHAA.

If you start with www.fileforums.com and look at the top of the page, there´re some links to Daemon Tools, unSafeDisc ... and BetaBlocker (unfortunately not listed) ...
there you´ll get German and English versions of BetaBlocker ...

when burning the (with new betablocker) patched image make sure that AWS is UNchecked!

I mean the new version of betablocker.....

I'll try using Betablocker again. I think I ticked AWS last time - not sure though - but i'll risk another coaster anyway.

I've got the Image on the PC. Now I took "Betablocker v1.01 - SD2.51" an patched the Image (or is there a newer version ?). In CloneCD I UNCHECKED AWS an what changed.
Yes, you're right. Really nothing. The game start with the same Exception at the same location as the unpatched Image. So I can't speak of success here.
I've no idea anymore how I can make a copy!

Please correct me if I made a mistake in my description!
