Codename Outbreak and Star Force
 

Hi all...let's see people......there's a lot of commets about this new type of protection and its invulnerability..but i question anyone if cloneCd and a compatible burner can burn a playable copy of this game. I have a plextor 24x(firmware 1.02) and a toshiba dvd-rom and original doesn't work on my computer..(it did not install....i think was about my obsolete voodoo banshee)i copied it with cloneCd at max speed and copy was like original......didn't work....
i tried it (the copy) on a friend's computer and it took a bit to be installed but it worked quite fine when playing.............then is a compatible cd-r and cloneCD able to backup this type of copy-protection???????or may this game do not have this protection at all?

Any suggestions/experiences will be quite granted......Thanks and sorry for this indian english

Now i can asure it didn't work in my computer due the graphic interface ......
My friend has an pionner dvd-rom and a lg cd-r and it worked on both of them!

next time just be more careful,this way you will notice and understand more....

i asume it doesn't work on my computer but my question is not already clear........can this type of protection be copied as is with cloneCD and a compatible burner or does this game not contain a full operative star force anti-copy system?
I am quite careful with my posts...sometimes could be wrong but only is a question like another one...there are many other post like this with all known issues that all know and does not reply for boring to repeat.Sorry for this but it is only a question.Thanks

You state that your copy works on another pc, and in two different drives?

Looks like a good copy to me, with some non-cdrom hardware troubles at your end.

Star Force is sort of like Tages at the moment.(meaning can't copy right sometimes)

You can ge thte latest clony At the gamecopyworld site....And is half in German....you get a readme that explains some of the german....

Ok...let's see..If any can asure it i will say the way i copied it.....maybe someone would like how to.
I copied it with cloneCD and securom new options activated but with the options for fast skipping error activated too.
It was so strange were trying to read it..It begun quite slow like safedisc v1 but it tooks some speed sometimes and then paf! slow too.It acelerated and decelerated too many times....was so strange.My plex writer frezzed the last times i tried to copy it to my hd and no way to copy it again (luckyly i had a cloneCD image at first trying)I don't remember if my image was done by my writer or by my toshiba dvd but when burning....used the securom v2 options (do not correct subchannel data)...and it worked on my friend computer..so when i change my vide card..will test it again.
One more thing....when it loads it tries to connect to its server (my friend has adsl)..it took one second and then launched....
