What is Ximage format?

I've found a tool called Craxtion, which lets you choose whether build your ISO in GDF or Ximage format. While I know what GDF is (and it's full of tutorials explaining it), I've found no info about Ximage. Usually ppl build UDF or GDF ISOs... so, what's Ximage?

ximage basically does exactley the same job as gdf.
in earlier versions of craxtion you needed to find and download gdfimage.exe and place it in the same folder as the craxtion.exe file to use the programme. this lets you make a iso image which exactley matches those created by microsoft. ximage came along in later versions of craxtion. i'm not sure but i believe the makers of craxtion developed it to use in place of gdf which was created using the stolen sdk and henceforth illegal.

Oh, ok, thanks, then there's no actual difference in the obtained ISO.

as far as i know they are the same. i like and use iso craxtion regularry to create multi game dvd's and patch games but as always i hate the iso method i always extract the finnished image from the iso and burn as a data burn.
