first i want to say thanks to everyone who helped me or posted infor for noobs cuz i've gone from never touching a sodering iron or a NIC to modding several xboxs, installing on/off switches, and HDD's. so again thanks.

now, i just backed-up my enter the matrix and tried to put it on my new HDD and when i launch the game the screen is blank ny i hear sound for a sec. then it freezes. i cehcked the number of files transfered and i'm missing a few. i recieved 2080 and the game on my PC HDD is approx. 2147 or something like that. so i deleted it a tried it again, and again, and again. no go.

also i shoud add i do have working game on my new HDD.

As mentioned in a few other post`s over the last week ..

Use " PxHDDLoader1.1 " for a trouble free installation to your harddrive.

You may want to add the HDD loader directory to your evox ini, that way the games will show up under evox, as well as hdd loader menu.

And what is with the Files:

and more? This Files do not Copy with HDDLoader 1.1a to the HDD!!! Need the Game this Files???

Those files still didnt stop the game working off my hard drive ...

Your game will stop after the 2nd level.
you need to patch the game.

How do i add the HDD loader directory in to my evox.ini os the games show up under evox & the HDD loader menu?

Also how do i patch Enter the matrix. i thought that if you had the latest bios, there was no need to patch?

I don't use hdd loader, but i think you have to copy the game with it to be able to have it show up in it's menu. So if you have games already on you will have to delete them and then copy them back over with the loader.

The matrix patch changes the long file names to shorter ones so you can copy it over and changes the .xbe file to reflect that.

The names are:
2003.05.06.Enter_The_Matrix_FIX_FOR_THE_GAME_CRASH ING_AFTER_PROJECTX_FIX.tar

2003.05.06.Enter_The_Matrix_FULLDVD_REAL_FIX_XBOX-ProjectX.tar

Well ...

I just finished the game as ghost .. i didnt check to see if the missing files *.txt files are on the HD though. But i used HDDloader 1.1, and no problems are apparent so far ..

Now, if i could just seperate the ghost & niobe files, i could have it over two DVD`s, and all the movie files ... Hmmm

If you want enter the matrix on 2 dvd-r's you could try this method thats on the xbox scene forums.

You mean it doesn't work on the HDD, or the disk? I'm pretty sure ther eis an HDD patch for the game, unfortunetly, I have no idea where it is.

What needs to be patched ???

I ran mine on the HD & Finished the game,
I just used HDD loaded 1.1, to load it up ..

BTU ...
I ran mine with no TXT if that makes a differance ??

i can't figure out why it worked for you and not for me.

i have the latest bios 4976.02 and i loaded it onto my HDD via HDD loader 1.1 and still the samething. it begins to load up, meaning that i can hear sound but no picture for about 2 secs and then it freezes to a black screen.

i'm at a loss because i've tried different methods about 10 times.
