External Hard Drive and Network
Since I am doing a lot of backups and converting many of my friends weddings, vacations and parties to dvd, I was thinking......
If I have one burner on my computer....Could I set up a network with my three other computers and then store dvd data on the network and then burn to my Cendyne from there. Or what about Maxtor 250GB Firewire Hard Drive. That way I could do it from anywhere.... Any suggestions are helpful. Later |
Only problem with networking and burning is that often due to latency and/or network bandwidth issues, you can't get enough data to the DVD burner fast enough.
Other than that, no reason why you couldn't. A firewire hard drive would be better in that regard, though. - Gurm |
