My friend who lives in Saudia Arabia needs help..
The chips that we can get so easy here are near impossible there. The gov't checks your mail and has made these chips illegal. So ordering one through the mail is impossible, however he does have access to one chip I have never heard of and ironic as it is its named the alladin.
Does anyone have any info on this chip, can you reflash it with evox, does it come pre flashed and any other kind of information you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all, |
and i'm that unlucky guy :(
plz help !!!! |
I got an idea.
Why don’t we shop the whole buying the modchip thing. Why not buy an XBox with a flashed TSOP? When then you it shipped and if they decide to check it when it got to Saudia Arabia, it will look normal for the most part. Theres no chip soldered in they can see and take out. What kind of TV system do you guys have? NTSC or PAL? And what kind of power system? 110V / 220V? |
what is the hole problem. i have a xbox with a alladin chip. when my xbox boots up it says exucuter 2. the light version. So alladin uses the executer chip

rms,
we have both TV systems here i.e NTSC,PAL and both power systems i.e 110,220 V so its not a big problem |
there is no way any government can check all the mail.
Just logistically too costly and waste of a lot of man power. I bet if you just write something like TV games accessories and its a birthday gift on the customs slip. It should get though OK. |
I've got a different take on this one. If the government is so strict that they check all mail and ban all chips, I'm thinking it would be a good idea to NOT get one at all.

If its illegal, thats just one more reason to do it. :D
|
Most of the middle eastern countries don't hand out weak fines or probation like the US does though! :p
|
Thats for sure.....
They will likely pluck out your eyeballs so you can never see another video game again.
