Can't get NO files to work from gamecopy world (get .rar instead of .exe)plz help
 

Hi ALL. I REALY NEED YOUR HELP! THANK YOU!
No matter what file I download form gamecopyworld it doesn't work! Instead of .exe files I usialy get .rar files, that could be opean in notepead (looks like nonesence, many unknown symbols). I don't know what to do. Does any one know why do I get that? PLZ HELP! And from other sites, the same files work fine for me, but not all files that are here could be found on any othe sites. PLZ help. Or if you know where can I get a v1.1 GTA Vice City NO CD patch plz tell me. THANK YOU!

Extract the exe from the rar file with WinRAR. Now just copy the exe to the installed directory.

this site really needs a noob forum.

If I go on gamecopyworld at home there are no disc icons to click on to download the files. If I log on at work the icons are there though and I can download.
I am on XP at home and Win2K at work.
Also I have other problems with Java missing etc, is this a problem that you guys have with your site ?
Do the icons need java to work ?

Disable any popup or ad blockers.

Why I don't have any specific ad or pop up blockers I have a firewall (Zone Alarm Pro), do you think this could be causing it ?

There are a lot of programs implementing ad blocking software into them these days. Have a look through the programs you have running and see if they have any such thing.
I dont think ZA has an ad-blocker but it's always worth a try disabling it for a few seconds.

I use Promoxitron, a kind of proxy server that runs locally and rips out ads. The thing is that at least one mirror detects that I'm running through a proxy and refuses to let me download because of this, so I have to disable that one too. Also GetRight (download manager) seems to be interfering with some mirrors.

Brilliant !! In Zone alarm pro there is a hidden setting that disables pop ups.
I altered the settings and Gamecopyworld links work absolutly brilliant.
Many thanxs for you two's help.

Still have the java problem trying to download the Nvida files, but that's another problem.
