What´s wrong???
 

I´ve tryed to make a backup of Maximo DVD and the burning went fine. I have a Modship and have no problem playing other backups. Why won´t this one work. The other ones are some I´ve borrowed from a friend and same brand.

For the burning I´m using PrimoDVD and NERO and none of the copies did work on the PS2.

Hmmmm, well, the usual two questions...

What version ps2 and....

what dvd media?

As I remember, Maximo is a cd game not dvd game. Try copy it to a cdr and see what happens

PS2-version is 3000 and I´m using Bulkpaq. Maximo is a DVD-Rom game not a CD-game. What can be wrong?

what modchip have you got & what is your booting method (if applicable).

maximo ntsc usa is dvdrom

if nero and prassi copies it ,without any problems,but games wont play

possibles causes
bad brand/batch of blank media
bad ps2 laser clean or adjust or replace (dvdr are much harder to read then cdr ,are your m8s backups that work cdr or dvdr? if dvdr are they the same brand as yours?
the games u burnt , do they work on your m8s ps2?

what is the make model of your burner?

what modchip do u have? what boot method do u use

I would definitely change your media brand, especially as u have an older version ps2. Bulkpaq suck in a big way, they r okay for simple games but anything data intense and they fail miserably. Swap to ritek or verbs m8ee

I got a original US ntsc Maximo and it is a CD-R game. Post what modchip and boot method you are using.
