PC - Xbox
 

Hey all,

I have a crossover cable from my Pc to my Xbox. I've got it so that they can see each other but when I try to connect through FlashFXP it times out and won't connect.

When I try to ping the ip address it cant see it. I have disconnect my firewall.

The reason I know they can see each other is because I can see the information on the xbox evox screen and if I turn off the xbox it comes up saying LAN disconnected on the PC screen.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like your IPs are not set up right.

I'm doing it exactly as it says in

you may have to do what i did and manually set the pc's ip and subnet mask.
don't ask how i did it as it was a complete fluke check the sticky evox for dummies.

that tutorial is how to connect, I should mention that to make it, I had a router...
