GS2 v. 3 booting
 

I have recently pruchaced the new GS2 version, 3 and i was wondering if the swap method still worked, as it opens when you go to start game...

Nope, it doesn't have that feature. (It re-authenticates the disc when the tray closes and then immediately boots up originals.)

Well that really blows, should i get a magic mod chip or just some swap magic disks instead, (have very little sodering experence, but knows people who do)

Don't do either. Get a messiah 2.

yes but, where can i find a messiah 2 mod chip for cheap?, i found the magic for 25$

The Messiah 2 will run you about another $20 but it is well worth it. A magic 3.x can lead to too many headaches. I am sure you will be getting a pm or two on where to get a M2. ;)

What kind of headaches are we looking at here?

Not all games working, having to reset multiple times to get a game to boot, etc. The Messiah 2 is a headache free chip.:)
