Backing up CloneCD Key

My HDD containing the CloneCD Key crashed last week.
Is there any way to backup the key from Windows's Registry?

If you legally owned CloneCd this wouldn't be a problem.

You wouldn't happen to assume that I own the retail version, wouldn't you?

For crying out loud, I got this forum's url from elby web site.
With this kind of advice, I am better off asking elby Tech Support directly.
What good would it be to ask here then?

They won't help. This is taken directly from their website:

Please store your CloneCD registration key at a safe place for the case of a system crash! Lost keys will not be replaced!

Thank for your help.

I guess they operate the same way as CDRWin.
At least with CDRWin, I know which file to back up.

I guess leaving my file server on 24-hrs a day for looooong period of time is not a good idea without a back up.
It's been on only a couple years, WD drive sucks.

contact their tech support - if you have the name you used, the company and all applicable information towards the cdkey - im sure they are reasonable.

CD Key for CDClone

We lost our key to version4 and Clone Cd would not help us at all, and they suggested that we buy another at $47 so we bought a key for version 3 on eBay for $10.00 and it works almost as well as V4--this will be the last key we will buy directly from Elaborate Bytes, from now on we will only go thru the secondary market.
