ive seen that there's a german crack for the restaurant empire that bypasses the starforce protection. do you think you can make it for the uk version? it could be helpful to dig into that german crack.
also i dont see anymore the cracks on www.cdkiller.tk. where did they go?

why? considering there is a perfectly good restaurant empire english crack by immersion i believe.

nope those cracks dont work for me, but the german one works..on my uk version! go figure

SOULDRiNKER did a crack for the german version but i thinks it´s stolen again (!!!) from iMMSERSiON.
cause the german exe has no differences to the UK / US exe.

Souldrinker sucks cause they steal other works...
(like the vietcong v1.01 exe from razor)

nope the german crack is 5mb and ims crack is 25mb

i downloaded the iMS version and it is NOT 25 MB.
the german crack will work.

the 25MB crack just doesn't work...there will be an error whenever u try to run the game

I agree with bloodrayne and mcdull.The 25MB cracks give lots of error messages, and can't even reach the loading screens.
Sample:

>"Re caused an invalid page fault in module re.exe at some funky address."

>"Entry point not found.re.exe not linked to kernell32.dllGetLastError" or something like that

And now the German version atleast gets to the loading screen, but stops saying "Error Loading: anim/CHEFINT.AM2"

I've win98, my PC meets all requirements(The demo runs fine.)
and I've the 1.21(Asia) patch installed.(i extracted the contents of the temp folder into installatin directory and then downloaded the fixed .exe.

Uninstall and reinstall the game from your original cd, and make sure you apply the correct patch.
You live in India, but what version do you have ? The US one ?

The German version of Restaurant Empire is not protected with Star-Force: it has Ring Protech.
cdkiller: your claim about the crack being stolen from Immersion, is ridiculous. You better check before you tell those things.

Here are a few things I forgot to mention.
First of all the Game has been uninstalled and reinstalled from the original CD 4-times.And there is no CD-KEY requirement.(No key on the cover, neither in the installation menu, nor on the jewel case)which suggests that this is the Asia-Pacific version(if the home site is correct).Hence the patch I downloaded is correct.

Now, the protection scan with the ProtectionIDScanner 3.4 by CDKiller says it is Securom 4.84.81.005.Talk about Restaurant Empire with Securom! :eek: But it scans the fixed exe correctly mentioning starforce and iMMERSION

The other thread about Restaurant Empire by m3tech speaks about a similar problem.Viper_Spit01 solved his problem by pointing him to the site :*************.com which refuses to open up in my browser.(All I get is blank page or error message about the non-existance of the site.)I hope I have made myself very clear ny now.I reeaaly love my original CD, and don't want even a teeny weeny scratch on its surface.

Well, the Asian version of RE seems to be protected with Securom.

I think your chance to find a crack for this version is almost zero.
Create a backup copy using Alcohol 120%.
