MechWarrior Black Knight no-CD Gamefix
 

I just downloaded Softbeard's no-CD executable for MechWarrior Black Knight. It seems to work ok for single player, but does not work for multiplayer games. It gets kicked out of the game lobby in multiplayer games.

The archive file comes with a *.crk file. I can't figure out if I need to do something extra with that.

This is what I did: I renamed the file "mw4x_crked.EXE" to "mw4x.EXE" and put it in the "mw4x" folder, replacing the old "mw4x.EXE" file. Then, I played the game. Single player worked, and I could see the servers in ZoneMatch. But when I tried to join a game, as soon as I got into a game lobby, I got booted.

P.S. I'm using Windows 2000 (I know that was relevant for another No-CD program for regular MW4).

Tried to download again to see if it was fixed since my last post, but when I click on the link, it just bounces me to another page within the site. So now I can't even download it, even if it is fixed!

well that's doesn't happen only with mechwarrior,most of the carcks released for import games work only for the single player mode!if there is a crack that can enable you play even to a multiplayer mode then it this crack is an exeption!

I can play the game on the net but only with people that have the same crack but i can't join other severs :rolleyes:

btw what crack u using? that let u play with the same crack other pple use
and also does it matters if u use win 98 or win 2000

srry frogot to mention Win XP iam using XP Pro

i use win xp 2 if you want the crack i can get it for you just email me but you still can not go in severs u can only play with people that have the same crack version as you so if you have a friend with the same game and crack it will work
