No Power

An X-box modded & working fine for approx 9 months will no longer switch on. It is as though there is no electric supply whatsoever (yes I have checked fuses & leads etc).

Any ideas what the problem is?

Thanx in advance.

hmm did u leave it on to long?
maybe a cord got disconnected inside?
maybe the port thingy where u connect the power plug is lose or knocked off?

If you want to do some thing sneaky, go buy a new XBox, open it up and steal its power supply. Pot the deal power supply in the new XBox and told it back and tell them it wont power on and this is the 2nd XBox you bought here that dose work and you want your money back.

I'd get booted out of sunday school & the church choir for something like that ;) .

I'ts nice to know what the fault was for future reference lol.

Hell, thats kinda dishonest...

Poor Bill wont make his millions that way !!

Me ...

I`d have popped the mod chip & swapped the whole X box !!

Those stickers on the bottom, pop off real easy with a hair dryer !!

woudl they take it back if they know you've been in it due to the sticker at the bottom being peeled?

Don't BS me here. I know you didn't buy a mod chip just to play your backed up games.

Any way, come over to my house with $20 and I'll do they dirty deed for you.

As wizzer pointed out, you can take it off with a hair dryer. Works the same for PS2s too.
Now for me, I did don't own a hair dryer plus I didn't give a rip if my sticker was messed up any way. So I just put the torx bit through it and took the screw out. :D
