Running games off HDD
 

Anyone hade problems running SIMS, MEDAL OFF HONUR, SPLINTERCELL, off hard drive?.

Xbox (v1.1) as X2-lite with the latest bios.

try turning off the IGR on the evolution X dashboard. If that doesn't eork, then try recopying the games.

the sims....i found you had to patch that and update to the lastest evox to get it to boot off the hd

The latest bios have a media check patch on them, so I don't think The Sims have to be patched.

im having a similar problem with medal of honor, but i have copied it to a DVD+RW and whenever i go to 2 player cooperative it resets. all my IGR are turned off, but im not sure bout the bios cause it gives me an error when trying to flash. everything else works on the game cept that.

which mdeal of honor is it? make sure the game has been patched if it is rising sun but personally id recomend burning it as 1x on a dvd-r

I'd try recopying the game to your computer and burning it again.
And do it at 1x as clarky suggested.

As for burning it to a DVD-R, that really dosent matter. Most XBox DVD-Roms will read + or - DVD Rs, and RWs with out any real difficulty.

is it me or this thread is abnormally old...

my xbox has no troubles reading + r or rw dvds so ill recopy the game and then try burning at 1x, but it still doesnt wanna play 2 player coop off the xboxs hd, will burning it actually change anything?
