launching some games off the hard drive
 

seeing as i prefer to play my back ups off the hd due to loading times i have ru into a few problems with certain games...

red faction 2-when it starts get a black screen with some wierd screeching noise

the sims-just a black screen

soul calibur 2(import)-just freezes on a black screen

indana jones-comes up with a screen saying the disc is dirty or damaged although there is no disc in the drive


has anyone managed to get these playing off the hard drive? i can get them to play through the original discs. i have tried patching them with copy haunters patching tool but no luck....so has anyone had any luck?

It sounds like the games need to be patched.
I know for a fact that The Sims needs to be patched.

Find and download XBEISO and patch all the games you are havin probs with. Or download and flash you chip with the X2 4975 Bios. I would suggest the X2 4975 Bios over patching the games.

i used copy haunters xbeiso patch and they wont boot off the hd...work off the original discs lovely mind...not sure if the patcher aint doing the job or what

k i have relised what was wrong, the patcher wont seem to work unless evolution x is updated
