yes i want to make a backup of my gs2 cause they screw up so ez so i figerd i use the copy and save backup sence i have my apple chip now but i can get no program to read it to image it comes up with errors or locks the cd rom up nero said it had unreable errors and was reading relly slow has any one here ever got a copy to copy of gs2 i had this same problem with code breaker trying to back it up

Don't know about GS2 but codebreaker backed up no prob with RecordNow Max.

record now max is a no go for me it locks up during reading so far i tryed clone cd , nero, record now max,primo dvd, none of them would not read the cd

Is the original in good shape? Try Alcohol 120%

I remember you saying before that it took you like 10 tries to get it to work in the PS2 so maybe it is to f***ed up to copy.

o im trying my negibors copy it has no straches as i speak im useing disc jugg its been reading about 2 hours now it has a ton of unrecovered read errors and its placeing dummy blocks in there spots but its takeing a long a** time i had ps1 games that did this but never took this long to read if this dont work i will try the Alcohol 120%

i left this cd read 12 hours and only got 1% of dumping complect i say forget that and i was useing Alcohol 120% it went through 1560 disc read errors on the cd b4 i shut it down i will just try and take care of my original gs2 and hope it dont go dead

Have you tried using Clony XXL then CloneCD?

i use to have cloney xxl back in my ps1 back up days but thats been along time and dont have no more do u know were to get it again i will prob need a newer version cause my clone cd is newest out yet

GS will back up with Clone CD no problem....

Sounds like the original has something wrong with it.....

nope nothing wrong with my gs2 i have both mine and my negibors now both ver 2 and neather will read it it wont copy the big.dat file i tryed it on 4 dif cd roms none will read it

it didnt work for me either using recordnow max, thats a first

i guess the new versions has a relly good copy protection on them cause both the disk get stuck reading the same file so i know it ant a bad disk or readers i used 4 dif readers they said on ps2newz i would have to make a dummy file to place in place of the big.dat file but still u cant make a imge file with out it read that big.dat file unless i copy and paste 1/1 on each file to my hd which = like 32 mb's and the cd says 645 mb's in size

yea i saw gs2 vers 3 on usenet, and it was like 4 megs
