DVD X Copy question
A few weeks ago I posted a query about DVD X Copy and the trouble I had making a copy of shrek.
The advice was that I should use ver 1.4 I did and all was good. Did a copy, did test run of the 1st few minutes of both disks no problem playing. Went to watch the whole thinmg this weekend end and nothing happened ( on both stabd aone DVD and computer). Can not work out what went wrong. Anybody have similar problems???? |
Sorry about the spelling hand and brains not working together today
|
If they worked before the problem is probably with your dvd player. Did you try playing them on your computer?
|
Had another go last night.
DVD's will play on the computer but only if I boot the DVD up from Windows Explorer. When I put Disc 1 in the stand alone DVD player I get a disc error after the DVDXCOPY disclaimer. And Disc 2 starts but then the screen freezes. I hear what you say about the DVD player but there is no problems with the other backups I've made ( MAD MAX II & THE ROCK). Both the stand alone and the computer DVD's are Philips ( by chance nothing planned ). It's got me beat. There appears to be no logic to it. anybody with any thoughts regards & Thanks  |
Are you multitasking while burning or have you installed any new progs since you were burning successfully burning? Are you using different media than you were before?

No I'm not multi tasking when I write. Unless having a screen saver on is cuasing problems??? |
A screensaver is a task. I always disable that too. They have version 1.5.2 now. You might want to try that too.
