Which mod chip is better DMS3 or Messiah?

i would reccomend messiah 2 and check this.

If you really need all that extra stuff the DMS3 has, get one. If not get the Messiah 2.

i havent heard much about the reliability of DMS3, so i would personally go for Messiah 2.

although the extra DMS3 options sound pretty cool!

Well I hear that the codes are fixed and there is no problems in dms3
So I think dms3 is better because the add ons....
But do u really need those???

I'm getting a DMS3(I have a M2) on my next ps2.

DMS3 is a joke. Most of the reliable retailers that I get M2's from have suspended selling dms3 until it's more relibale. Coupled onto that it works on similar technology to magic chips and hence it has inherited the magic problems.

At the mo it will be a lot more reliable to get M2 and if u really need dvd region free get ar2 or dvdregion x and it will probably still work out cheaper than getting dms 3 installed.

I just downtrated the magic 2 to 90% in the light of Messiah 2 and DMS3.

But Hyungsup is right - a magic 2 is OK.

What kinda addons can be done with the DMS3?

It supports an mp3 player, divx player, dvd region free, macrovision off, and a flash upgrade feature.

whats macrovision? ive seen it everywhere, but dont know what it is
